Tactical drills and game strategies for next game in North Spain

The Rojiblancos do not rest on Spain’s National Day (12 October). The last training sessions will be conducted behind closed doors

The UD Almería players have been working on Spain’s National Day (12 October) on the Anexo training field to put the finishing touches ahead of the next game against SD Eibar. The Rojiblancos focused on both defensive and offensive tactical aspects with the aim of continuing to score when playing away from home- 2 consecutive victories - and extend the positive run of results – 3 victories and 1 draw – on the last four LaLiga SmartBank Matchdays.

Rubi's side are fully aware of the difficulty when taking on a team that was relegated from the top flight last season. The next adversaries are pushing forward and giving their all to be up to the task.

Effective game strategies have been present at the training base in Almeria: lost the ball: win it back drills. The practice ended with some work based on crossing from a wide position and finishing.

Injured players Robertone, Ramazani and Buñuel have been the only absentees. The UD Almeria squad will be training behind closed doors again this Wednesday and Thursday on the Anexo ground since they will be flying to North Spain in order to kick off the second-tier Matchday 10 this Friday, 15 October.
