Stadium bleachers given a complete facelift
Deep cleaning, seat covers on the North and South stands and seats painted red
UD Almería have already begun to work on the Juegos Mediterráneos makeover, although the stadium reconstruction works have not started yet as the Club is waiting for the municipal authorisation (requested and already paid by UD Almeria).
In this sense, UD Almería are beginning to do a deep cleaning in the stands area using pressure washing among other jobs. In addition, stadium tarps are being placed in the old North and South stands which are not currently used. Some seat covers have been put vertically and others with its sponsor advertising horizontally, so the image of the venue will be greatly improved in every way.
Regardless of this, UD Almería have also started to paint the seats red, as well as the floor of the area where the stands are located. It is the first renovation work being done at the Mediterraneo. Meanwhile, the dressing rooms are being emptied and the material has been moved so that everything is ready before the renovation works begin at the lowest level.
