Sports Councillor wishes UD Almería the best of luck before the league start

The Rojiblancos exercise at the Anexo training pitch. They will step up preparations again in the Stadium on Saturday and Sunday.

Councillor for Sports of the Almeria City Council Juanjo Segura visited the UD Almería players while they were taking part in a training session this Friday. He also had a friendly chat with head coach Rubi for a few minutes and wished him the best of luck before the league kick-off for the Rojiblancos next Monday, 16 August in Cartagena (kick-off 10 pm/ Spain Time).

After Thursday's double training session, Friday’s practice had light-intensity drills as the squad will step up preparations again in the behind-closed-doors training sessions scheduled for Saturday and Sunday at the Juegos Mediterraneos Stadium.

In fact, this Friday has been a working day in which, among other actions, the players have played rondos and have practised free kicks and penalties. They have been at the Anexo training ground for an hour and then they have worked out in the gym as well as undergoing physio treatments at the Stadium.
