They are from Almería and play for UD Almería
The UD Almería Foundation team who participate in LaLiga Genuine feel extremely proud to defend the colours of their Club. Once again they lived a great experience at the Valencia headquarters
The UD Almería Foundation team registered in LaLiga Genuine have participated in a new event aimed at people with intellectual disabilities organised by the football association with the participation of the top and second tiers of Spanish football.
After the Tarragona headquarters, where the 2024/25 season began, the second call has taken the Genuine played to the Comunitat Valenciana. There, in addition to playing their matches at the Valencia CF Sports Complex, they have shown their support for those affected by the cold drop last year. In fact, 10 teams with players with intellectual disabilities from the affected towns and villages participated in a tournament prior to the Genuine league.
Then, the clubs representing the Primera and Segunda division entered the fray. UD Almería Genuine, who participate in the 'Respeto' group (the other is 'Compañerismo') along with 23 other teams, played against FC Cartagena and RCD Espanyol de Barcelona.
Living this experience is something unforgettable for those who are part of the teams because they practise the sport they like, they have days of coexistence with the rest of the participants and they feel like soccer players. The players who represent the UD Almería Foundation are not only from Almería, they also play for UD Almería.
