Some players are back into the fold when Almeria step up preparations at this decisive moment of the League

The Rojiblancos are training tomorrow after the win against Depor and will have a short break until Tuesday. Coric will finally be available. The automatic promotion spot is five points away.

The UD Almeria first team players trained this morning after the stunning victory against Deportivo last night; it was a recovery workout session held at the Juegos Mediterraneos for those players who played more minutes on Saturday night, while the training session was a bit more intense for others. The midfielder Coric, who was training as usual, could get the all-clear in the next few days. Sivera and Jonathan, who were out of action yesterday, will be eligible for the next encounter.

José Carlos Lazo, who was injured in Cádiz, remains on the sidelines. Despite the fact that Lazo is taking part in some training with the ball at the moment, the left-wing could be back on his feet in due time. Although Juan Ibiza have not featured for six months, the centre-back could get the all-clear in mid-March. Meanwhile, Petrovic continues to recovery from injury, but we still have to wait to see him joining the group.

After training this Sunday, Almeria will have one day and a half off ahead of the next League fixture on Sunday in Albacete (12 noon). The Rojiblancos will be back in the thick of things, behind closed doors, at Juegos Mediterraneos on Tuesday afternoon.

The Almeria squad will exercise on Wednesday morning in the Anexo training ground, whereas the footballers will do it again at the Juegos Mediterraneos Stadium on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

After the victory achieved against Deportivo, Almeria look set to remain at the top of the table following Cádiz (6 points ahead) and Zaragoza (5), who won in Malaga in the race for promotion to First Division. The Rojiblancos, who are even on points (50) with Huesca, are sitting third in the table. Clubs such as Girona (47), and Elche (46) are looking forward to closing the gap on the leaders of the pack. Promotion race is really hotting up.
