Soko caps off UDA summer training camp

The first summer signing answered questions from participants, who ended up receiving a certificate following a week packed with football practice

UD Almería's first summer signing Patrick Soko was in charge of capping off the first week of the successful summer training camp organised by the UD Almería Foundation since 2011.

The forward spent time with the participants in the press room, not only taking photos with them but also answering questions from the young players, who greatly enjoyed the masterclass given by UD Almería 'B' head coach Alberto Lasarte at the Francisco Pomedio Stadium in Huércal de Almería.

In total, 65 youngsters were coached in player's development, nutrition and healthy habits as well as tactical and technical football concepts. All of them received their own personalised certificates after seeing the inside of the UDA Stadium and the facilities where their idols will begin training in the coming days. Training camp coaches took the opportunity to tell the story of UD Almería through iconic images that decorate the dressing room area of the sports venue.

The Foundation's training camp continues next Monday. The second week will be completely different and will feature not only many of the young people who will be involved in the same programme, but also new classmates who will join this unforgettable social space for those who complete it.
