UD Almería and the Madrid-based club agree a season-long loan deal for the Cameroonian forward, with an option to make the move permanent at the end of the 2026/27 campaign
UD Almería and CD Leganés have reached an agreement for the loan of Patrick Soko until June 2027. The deal includes an option-to-buy at the end of the season.
The Cameroonian attacker joined the Rojiblancos last summer after an outstanding campaign with SD Huesca, where he established himself as one of the standout performers in LaLiga Hypermotion. During that season, Soko scored 13 goals and provided 4 assists.
However, he was unable to secure the continuity he had hoped for at UD Almería, making 21 appearances, including 7 starts. His only goal for the Club came in the Copa del Rey.
Soko now joins one of the division's historic clubs in search of rediscovering his best form in a league he knows well.
UD Almería wish him every success in this new chapter. Throughout his time at the club, his attitude, commitment and professionalism were exemplary.
