Significant signings for UD Almeria U19 sides

The Rojiblancos lower ranks are reinforced with talented footballers ahead of the competitive campaign

The UD Almería Youth sides have been strengthened with the addition of 11 players -10 of them will belong to UD Almeria U19s ‘A’ and one more to UD Almeria U19s ‘B’ - coming from important Academies across Spain. All of them will join other homegrown players who were already part of the Indálicos Club.

Facing a campaign that is absolutely competitive within Division de Honor Juvenil in which the young Rojiblancos have been framed in group IV, made up of 22 teams in a competition with eight relegations, the UD Almería Academy have signed goalkeeper Mert from Atlético de Madrid, the central defenders Carmona (Real Madrid) and Junior (CD El Ejido) —who was part of the Indálicos Academy playing for UD Almeria U16s—wingers Domi (Villarreal CF) and Leal (former player at the Seville FC Youth who completed the past season at Villaverde); midfielders Víctor Sala (Alzira), Andrés (Marbella) and Palomino (Hércules), as well as wingers Gabi (Real Madrid) and Jorge de Vicente, who played with Santa Marta in this league level.

With regard to UD Almeria U19s ‘B’, youngster left-back Torres from Seville FC Youth is joining a large group of teenage footballers from the past campaign and some other players rising through Under-16s ‘A’.
