UDA Academy youth teams record 7Ws, 1D and 3Ls this weekend
Under-19s ‘A’ suffer narrow defeat to Granada CF, while Under-19s ‘B’ extend winning streak to 10 matches
UD Almería’s youth teams enjoyed a mixed weekend across various leagues and competitions, with the Academy products recording 7 wins, 1 draw and 3 defeats.
At Under-19 level, the 'A' team were narrowly defeated 2-1 by Granada CF in the final stages of their away fixture. Despite the loss, they remain in the hunt for a spot in the Spanish Cup U19, with 6 matches still to play — 4 of those at home and 2 away. Their next challenge is a crucial home clash against Málaga CF.
On a more positive note, the Under-19s 'B' team continued their impressive form, securing their 10th consecutive victory. They extended their lead at the top of the table to 4 points over second-placed Marbella, thanks to a narrow 1-0 win against Linares Deportivo. The rest of results are the following:
