Solid performances across all age groups, with notable victories for the U19s 'A' and 'B' in top divisions
The UD Almería Academy youth teams delivered a strong showing over the weekend, registering 7 wins, 3 draws and 2 losses across various age groups. The standout performances came from the club’s U19 sides in the División de Honor and Liga Nacional, who both recorded important victories in their respective leagues.
UDA U19s 'A', competing in the División de Honor, bounced back from a recent setback with a hard-fought 2-1 away victory over Melilla. This result has given the team a brief respite in the league, keeping their hopes of challenging for the top positions alive. However, they face a crucial period ahead, where a series of positive results will be key to maintaining their standing.
Meanwhile, UD Almería U19s 'B', competing in the Liga Nacional, continued their impressive form with a dominant 5-1 victory over Rusadir at the Comarca de Níjar pitch located in Campohermoso village. This marked their 6th consecutive win and they currently lead the table alongside Marbella.
Despite their excellent form, promotion to the División de Honor is not possible for U19s 'B', as the 'A' team already occupy that division.
