Sergio Akieme clocks up a century of UD Almería games

The last match at home against Real Valladolid CF was his centurion game as a Rojiblanco. He joined the Club the 2020/21 season

UD Almería left-back Sergio Akieme has  celebrated 100 games as a Rojiblanco last Sunday when he came on from the bench against Real Valladolid CF in the 88th minute to replace Alex Centelles. It was his 28th game this season. 
The Madrid-born footballer joined UD Almería in the 2020/21 season. He moved from the FC Barcelona 'B' team and in his debut he played 34 league games, 4 Copa del Rey ties and 2 play-off games for promotion to the top flight. Over the last season 2020/22, he was lined up 30 times in the league and in 2 in the Spanish cup tournament, becoming a key player in the long-awaited promotion to the top tier of Spanish football.
Akieme, pacy winger with a fancy footwork, has scored four goals as Rojiblanco and has produced five assists.
