Sergio Aguza shipped out on loan to Ponferradina for the remainder of season
The midfielder, loaned out to Cartagena until this January transfer window, will now be sent out to The Bierzo-based club
UD Almería midfielder Sergio Aguza, who was shipped out on loan to Cartagena FC last summer, will play on loan the remainder of the 2020/21 season for second-tier SD Ponferradina. This has been decided by the Catalan central midfielder, the club from El Bierzo (Castilla y Leon) and the Rojiblancos club.
Previously, both Sergio Aguza and parent-club UD Almería reached a legal agreement with Cartagena FC to cancel the loan stint that was arranged at the beginning of this campaign, in order to be able to send him out to SD Ponferradina on a temporary basis until the end of this season.
The 28-year-old Rojiblanco player has two more years of contract with UD Almería until June 2023. Hence, when the current season comes to an end, he will rejoin his former team-mates in Almeria.
