Selvi Clua joins CD Mirandés on loan

The 20-year-old UD Almería midfielder heads to LaLiga Hypermotion side for the remainder of the season in search of regular minutes

UD Almería midfielder Selvi Clua will spend the rest of the 2025/26 campaign on loan at CD Mirandés after an agreement was finalised this Wednesday between the player and both second-tier clubs.

The 20-year-old, who remains under contract with the Andalusian outfit until June 2030, moves to the Miranda de Ebro side with the aim of gaining more regular first-team football during the second half of the season.

Competition for places in UD Almería’s midfield has limited his involvement, with Clua registering the fewest minutes among the club’s central options with the likes of Lopy, Gui Guedes, Dzôdić, Baba and André Horta.

A native of Tarragona, Selvi joined UD Almería from Girona FC during the January transfer window last season. He went on to make 11 league appearances and featured in one promotion play-off match as the Club pushed for a return to the top flight.

So far this season, the young midfielder has appeared in 8 league fixtures, starting twice and coming off the bench on six occasions, while also featuring in both Copa del Rey ties against CF Lorca Deportiva and CD Eldense.

UD Almería would like to wish Selvi Clua every success as he continues his development with CD Mirandés.
