Both players come from Cádiz CF Women and have valuable experience in Primera Nacional women’s league in Spain

UD Almería Women have made the first two additions for the 2021/22 season. Forward Sarita and midfielder Marta Paz will wear the red and white shirt in the third consecutive season of the Rojiblancas competing in the Primera Nacional women’s league in Spain. Both players come from Cádiz CF Women with bags of experience in this league level.

Marta Paz Cruz was born in El Puerto de Santa María on 23rd March 1999 and knows this league like the back of her hand having shown great quality in the midfield playing for Cadiz CF Women during the five campaigns. The new member of the Indálicas team arrived at the Amarillo club in 2016 becoming a key player and one of the captains of the outfit. Beyond the sensational dominance in the heart of the pitch, she has also stood out as one of the leading scorers. She found the net 4 times last season.

Sara Sánchez García aka Sarita, who was born in San Fernando on 9th November 2003, has also stood out in this competitive league courtesy of her great offensive skills since she scored 5 goals in the 2020/21 campaign. The 17-year-old striker signed with Cádiz CF Women in the 2020 winter transfer window. Previously, she took her first steps as a footballer in Bazán.
