Samú Costa and Largie Ramazani could be adversaries in the UEFA U21 Euro

Both Rojiblancos have been standout performers with Portugal U21 and Belgium U21 in the friendlies played last week. Both national teams are in Group A

UD Almería internacionals Samú Costa and Largie Ramazani, who have been standout performers in the friendly matches played by Portugal U21 and Belgium U21, could be adversaries in the next UEFA U21 Euro since both national teams are in Group A along with the Netherlands and Georgia. Should the two footballers be called up for international duty again, they will face each other in the European tournament that will be held this summer in Georgia and Romania.

Largie Ramazani scored a goal and produced a superb assist in the second friendly in which Belgium U21 edged their way past Japan U21 (3-2). Even though the UD Almería attacker was a starter, he was subbed at half-time. The former Manchester Utd U23 player also was involved in half of the first friendly against the Czechia U21.

Samú Costa was handed out a starting spot in the first international meeting in which the Lusitanians beat Romania U21 0-2. The defensive midfielder played his part in the 3-0 comfortable win over Norway U21 this past Tuesday. Samú entered the pitch on 45'+1, assisting his team-mate Vitinha, who stabbed home the second inside 69 minutes.

UD Almería 'B' youngster Martin Šviderský got minutes in his legs with Slovakia U21, while Rafa Núñez, joined the Dominican Republic senior squad. Šviderský has been a starter in the three friendlies he has played in Turkey, playing the full 90 minutes except in the first game in which he was benched at the break. Rafa Núñez earned his first cap for the Dominican Republic squad in the Concacaf nations league qualifiers; his national team recorded a one-all draw with French Guiana.

In addition, Bruno Iribarne was called up to Spain U19s, with whom he made an appearance to qualify for the next European Under-19s competition. UDA Academy prospect Ramón Martos has also joined up with Ireland U15.
