Rubi delivers coaching masterclass
RFEF Coaches Committee visits UD Almería to study the methodology of the Rojiblanco boss ahead of the game with Cultural y Deportiva Leonesa this Monday
A delegation of coaches currently without a Club has been closely analysing the methodology of UD Almería head coach Rubi as part of an initiative organised by the Coaches Committee of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF). The group will remain with the Club until Monday’s fixture against Cultural y Deportiva Leonesa.
The RFEF Coaches Committee selected UD Almería, among other clubs, to host a group of out-of-work head coaches in order to showcase different coaching methods used across LaLiga and the Spanish Segunda division. On Friday at the Club’s training ground, Committee president Iván Cancela and four coaches observed the session led by Rubi and his coaching staff.
Pedro Morilla, Gabri García, Xavi Molist and Rafael Pérez were present during Friday’s training session, carefully studying the work carried out by Rubi and his staff. The visit forms part of the ongoing development programme that the RFEF Coaches Committee offers to its members.
Beyond observing training, UD Almería have also organised a series of meetings across different departments of the Club to give the visiting coaches a broader understanding of the internal structure and daily operations of the Rojiblancos' organisation.
The visit will extend throughout the weekend and will conclude with Monday’s match between UD Almería and Cultural y Deportiva Leonesa. The programme will also include attending a fixture involving the UD Almería 'B' team.
As a gesture of appreciation for the Club’s hospitality, particularly the technical.
