UD Almería head coach Rubi expressed his satisfaction with his side's Spanish Cup first-round victory in the Madrid-based town of San Sebastián de los Reyes: 'I'm very happy for qualifying for the Spanish Cup second-round, for the fighting spirit and for the debuts of Bruno Iribarne and Lorenzo.'
'I regret conceding a goal from a corner-kick yet again,' he added. The gaffer insisted on continuing to work hard to solve these problems that are taking their toll on the team.
Moreover, Rubi said that his heart goes out to all the victims of the flash flooding that is hitting the southern and eastern parts of Spain, especially Valencia. 'How meaningful the minute of silence observed has been,' he added.
Before bringing his post-Sanse press conference to a close, the Catalan head coach thanked hosts UD San Sebastián de los Reyes for the welcome and praised the excellent condition of their pitch.
