Romera is no longer a Rojiblanco after Almeria and the right-back terminate his contract

The club and the player terminate his contract by mutual consent. He will be entitled to receive a severance pay

Almería and Romera have reached a mutual agreement to terminate their contractual relationship that was meant to last one more year, the one corresponding to the 2020/21 season, so the Valencian player will no longer be a Rojiblanco player.

Jose Romera, UD Almeria right-back and one of the team captains, arrived at Almería in the 2018/19 campaign from Dínamo Bucharest. He signed a one-year deal with the club and later renewed his contract for two more, but as mentioned above, he will not fulfill the second remaining year after both parties have reached a mutual agreement. The footballer was training with the first-team in the pre-season training camp in Marbella.

UD Almería would like to sincerely thank Romera for his professionalism, hard work and commitment. At the same time, the club would like to wish him the best of luck on his future football career.
