Rodrigo Ely has been discharged from hospital and will now continue his recovery from arthritis in his right ankle under the supervision of UD Almería’s medical staff.

The Brazilian centre-back has responded positively to the treatment he received at Vithas Hospital and has now been discharged from the medical centre.

Ely sustained the injury during a match in Córdoba on Matchday 5. Following an inflammatory process, the defender underwent the necessary medical tests, which confirmed arthritis in his right ankle. He was subsequently admitted to hospital to receive the appropriate treatment, with his progress responding as expected.

The defender will now continue his recovery programme under the supervision of the Club’s medical team.
