Robertone: 'This game is special because of the positions that both teams occupy'
The 24-year-old Argentinian believes that a victory over CD Tenerife would be 'a big emotional boost' for the team
Lucas Robertone has been on the treatment table for about a month and he has the feeling of having been away much longer: 'I'm happy to be back in training with the group. You go through a difficult time when you’re injured with a lot of individual work but luckily it's now over and I truly hope to help my team-mates. It's true that it seems that when I've been better and more confident this year I've picked up the injuries that have kept me away. I've never had muscle injuries and I've suffered them all at once this year, but now I'm just looking forward to this part of the season that is the most important.'
The Argentinian midfielder is available for selection again for the next match on the island: 'I don't know if it's just one more game because it'll be a vital victory for the team that wins. It's going to be a big emotional boost for the rest of the season' stated Robertone.
At the same time, the Concordia-born player reported: 'We try to respect all the rivals alike and play our game regardless of the opponents or if it's a home or away game. This game is special because of the positions that both teams occupy but we’re not going to stop doing what we’ve been doing all year, which is what has allowed us to be where we're.’
On some keys to the game, Robertone has indicated the following: ‘They’re going to play at home so they’ll start the game by going all out for a win while we’ll try to be calm and rely on the confidence that our players up front have. We can also create danger.’
Before the end of his catch-up with the press, Robertone mentioned how demanding this season in the Segunda Division is: ‘Every year the same thing happens and all the games from now on will be tough as there’s a lot at stake for all the teams. We have to keep a cool head no matter what the result is. In the race for promotion, there are four teams proving their constancy with regard to the number of points so it's not gonna be easy at all to earn promotion. It’ll be just as difficult to get promoted as it was last year.’
