Robertone undergoes surgery this Friday

The central midfielder, the coaching staff, the medical services and the Club have decided to go ahead with the shoulder surgery of the Argentinian midfielder, who will be out of the team until 2025

UD Almería central midfielder Lucas Robertone is undergoing surgery this Friday in Madrid for his left shoulder dislocation as decided by the player, the coaching staff, the medical services and the Club. There was talk of undergoing surgery now taking advantage of the Christmas break if there were no setbacks, but a series of circumstances have arisen to bring forward the operation.

Lucas Robertone cannot train or play normally since there is a risk of his shoulder coming off, as it has happened several times since the start of the league. Although he is wearing shoulder protection, it does not guarantee any reliability, apart from the fact that it is annoying to exercise for him.

Another determining issue is the availability of the surgeon who will operate on him, Dr Manuel Leyes, who will do so at the 'La Luz' University Hospital that belongs to the Quirón group, in Madrid.

Furthermore, it is preferable for the player to leave now and be fully available for the most decisive part of LaLiga Hypermotion. The surgical procedure is an arthroscopy and the recovery period is estimated between approximately two and a half to three months, so he will not be able to play again until 2025.
