Robertone called up to Argentina team for upcoming Olympic Games

The Rojiblanco midfielder joins the Albiceleste squad that will be competing in the same group as Spain in Tokyo 2021

UD Almería midfielder Lucas Robertone has been called up to the Argentina team in order to play the Tokyo 2021 Olympic Games. The set of international sports competitions will be held in the capital of Japan this summer from 23 July to 8 August, although the football tournament is due to start on 21 July. 

The 24-year-old footballer joins his national team’s training sessions this Tuesday, 22 June in Buenos Aires. The Albiceleste travelling squad will be flying out to Tokyo on 15 July, where they will take on Spain, Egypt and Australia within Group C.
