Tough challenge for UD Almería Women against CD Femarguín SPAR Gran Canaria
The Rojiblancas are hosting the islanders this Saturday at the Emilio Campra Youth Stadium (KO 11am) with the firm intention of emerging victorious
UD Almería Women need to get back into the winning trail sooner rather than later so that relegation-threatened CF Unión Viera Women cannot escape the drop as they are three points clear of the relegation zone.
It will not be an easy ride for the Rojiblancas since they are hosting CD Femarguín SPAR Gran Canaria Women, a team sitting 4th coming on the back of three consecutive victories.
On the other hand, UD Almería Women will compete to their limits and beyond to keep added pressure on fellow strugglers CF Unión Viera who host runners-up the girls from Madrid CFF this Sunday.
The Indálicas showed their footballing skills against FF La Solana by whipping in many chances and dictating the game, however the long-awaited goal did not come. This is the unfinished business for the Rojiblancas who, in the last five games, have managed to find the net in only two of the five last fixtures and this is not enough should they want to secure survival.
The girls from UD Almería seem to be quite confident in reversing the situation as from 11am this Saturday against the Canarian girl's team.
