René, Marcos Peña and Valen join UD Almería first team
The three UD Almería 'B' players finish their holidays after promotion and are now training under Rubi's guidelines. Nico Melamed arrives this week, while César Montes will be ready for the training camp in Marbella
UD Almería have started the second pre-season training week with numerous new faces since, apart from the departure of Jonathan Viera, who has reached an agreement with the Club to terminate his contract, three UD Almería 'B' players have joined the first team in training. Central defender René, midfielder Marcos Peña and winger Valen are following head coach Rubi's guidelines after finishing their holidays following promotion to Segunda RFEF. All three have undergone their medicals and have subsequently trained with the first teamers. They started working out in the gym and continued exercising on the Anexo grass.
On the other hand, latest signing Nico Melamed arrives this week, while César Montes will be ready for the upcoming training camp in the Marbella between 23rd July and 1st August. Meanwhile, Marc Pubill is preparing to participate with Spain in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
UD Almería have completed a double training session with 29 players, 26 on the pitch including the 'B' team players and three goalkeepers. Nico Melamed, who is the first signing made by the Club apart from those players whose option-to-buy clauses activated, will be the thirtieth in the Rojiblancos squad.
