Return flight this Sunday and rest on Monday

Starting on Tuesday, UD Almería will begin preparing for the the Matchday 3 fixture against Sporting de Gijón, which will be the home opener

The UD Almería travelling squad return this Sunday from Tenerife island, where on Saturday night they won the second LaLiga Hypermotion fixture. They will land early in the afternoon, since it must be taken into account that the flight lasts approximately 2 hours, in addition to the time difference with the Canary Islands. For this reason, after the Heliodoro Rodríguez López match, the players with fewer minutes in their legs did some post-match recovery exercises. Those players who will exercise this Sunday will be the players who were not included in the squad list and who are expected to be available for the next league event.

The squad will have a break on Monday starting on Tuesday, they will begin preparing for the home opener against Sporting de Gijón, which will be held on Saturday, 31st August at 9:30pm.

The UD Almería players will train in the mornings (10am) on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and will do so in the afternoon on Friday (7pn). The week will serve not only to prepare the team for this first match at the UD Almería Stadium, but also to check on the fitness and availability of players such as Leo BaptistaoLucas Robertone and Marc Pubill

Head coach Rubi had already announced in the pre-Tenerife press conference that he was confident that the three players could be available for the match against Sporting de Gijón.
