Return flight from Valencia as training resumes on Monday

UD Almería will have an active recovery session before having a break on Tuesday. Starting on Wednesday, they will begin to prepare for the visit of Burgos CF who will play on Saturday at the UD Almería Stadium

UD Almería returned from Valencia on a charter flight as soon as they finished the match against Levante UD. This Monday, the players who got more minutes against the Granotas in their legs will have an active recovery training session, while the rest will exercise with more intensity.

The training session has been scheduled at 10:30am on the Anexo training base. Tuesday will be a day off for the squad and from Wednesday, they will begin to focus on the visit of Burgos CF, who will be playing at 6:30pm on Saturday at the UD Almería Stadium.

Rubi will have four days to put the team through their paces with the sessions on Thursday and Friday being conducted behind closed doors. The week will serve to check up on Marc Pubill to find out whether or not he will be available for this next league event. The Olympic champion suffered a medial collateral ligament injury in his left knee against SD Eibar that prevented him from being named in the Valencia squad list. Rubi has already announced that he does not rule him out because his recovery is being very positive.

After the match against Burgos CF, UD Almería will have two tough-looking consecutive trips to Oviedo and Zaragoza, so the encounter against the Castilla y Leon outfit is important to be able to advance positions in the standings and achieve the first win of the season at home, where so far only two of the nine points at stake have been achieved.
