Recreativo de Granada and UD Almería 'B' to lock horns
The two Andalusian 'B' teams will face each other at 12 noon this Sunday. The Granadinistas have been relegated from third-tier Primera RFEF last season while the Indálicos have earned promotion to Segunda RFEF. Both outfits met in the pre-season in the same place with the result of 2-1
Fourth-tier Segunda RFEF Matchday 5 is just around the corner with UD Almería 'B' visiting Recreativo de Granada in a match that will be played at noon this Sunday in the Sports Complex of the club from the city of La Alhambra. Both outfits have already met in the pre-season on the same pitch with the result of 2-1 for the Granadinistas. It will be an Andalusian derby that comes after the relegation of Recreativo de Granada from the third-tier Primera RFEF and the promotion of the Indálicos from the fifth-tier Tercera RFEF.
The Nazarís have not had a good start to the 2024/25 season and have bagged 4 points, although they have gotten them on the last two Matchdays so they are on a winning run. UD Almeria 'B' face the league event after losing, unfairly, against Linares Deportivo, but they currently sit fifth in the table because they had previously registered two wins and a draw, accounting for seven points in the standings.
The team coached by Alberto Lasarte is confident of being able to do a good job. 'It'll be very complicated because they have up to 7 players who come from the Primera RFEF so they are more experienced in a higher division of Spanish football than those UD Almería 'B' players,' said the youthful Rojiblancos' gaffer.
One of the keys to success this Sunday as the head coach pointed out will be 'to start the game well and not let it happen to us like last Sunday when we gave away a penalty after 5 minutes.' Mr Lasarte praises the next rivals' football style of game, which is 'daring, brave and vertical football.'
The Two Andalusian sides know each other well and the Indálicos will be looking to impose their pace of play to control the situation against opponents of enormous potential.
