The Rojiblancos will face the Aguileños on 25 July before taking on UEFA Champions League side Betis on 1 August
UD Almería have confirmed the first two fixtures of their pre-season programme, with friendlies against Águilas FC and Real Betis as preparations continue for the 2026/27 campaign.
Newly-appointed head coach Francisco Javier Garcia Pimienta and his squad will play their first summer friendly on 25 July at 8pm Spanish Time, travelling to El Rubial stadium to take on Águilas FC. The Murcia-based outfit secured promotion to Primera RFEF last season and will provide a competitive first test for the Indálicos.
The close proximity of Águilas city will also allow plenty of UD Almería supporters to make the trip and see their team in action for the first time this summer. In addition, renovation work currently being carried out at El Rubial stadium will offer improved facilities for spectators.
UD Almería's second confirmed fixture comes on 1 August, when they will face Real Betis at 8pm Spanish Time at the La Línea stadium.
The Verdiblancos head into the new campaign after securing qualification for the UEFA Champions League, making the encounter another valuable challenge as UD Almería continue their preparations ahead of the start of the new season.
*Further pre-season fixtures will be announced in due course.
