Rapturous welcome, a cappella anthem, Mexican waves...What a party at the Mediterraneo!
The UD Almeria supporters continue to show their unconditional support for their team, who remain in automatic promotion
The UD Almería supporters continue to show their unconditional, unwavering support for their team as they gave the players a rapturous welcome upon their arrival at the Juegos Mediterraneos. In fact, around a 1,000 fans gathered around the Stadium.
It was terrifically exciting to enjoy the UD Almeria crowd belting out the UD Almeria’s anthem a cappella while showing off their team scarves. It happened in the early stages of the match, when the starters came out onto the pitch to play the match, but also during the second half. The event occurred on the previous Matchday in Malaga, but last night there were just over 8,000 fans in the Juegos Mediterráneos red stands.
When UD Almería doubled their lead (2-0) and victory was practically guaranteed, the fans did Mexican waves in the stands over and over, creating an electric atmosphere.
The Juegos Mediterráneos Stadium hosted a fun party to celebrate the third victory of UD Almería on the bounce and the fact that with three more points, the Indalicos remain in automatic promotion, one point behind leaders SD Eibar and 3 points ahead of CD Tenerife and Real Valladolid CF. On Friday, the Rojiblancos will be playing at home again... Let’s keep the party going!
