Ramón Fernández-Pacheco: ‘We’ll all play the next UD Almería games and it has to be noticed’

Mayor of Almería Ramón Fernández-Pacheco has issued a proclamation strongly encouraging the people of Almería ‘to wear the UD Almería red and white colours’ and ‘spread hope and make it resonate’ with an eye to inspire UD Almería ‘to the top flight.’ 

Fernández-Pacheco highlights in the public announcement the ‘enormous collective enthusiasm’ that the Almerienses are bubbling over with these days with the possibility of earning promotion to the Primera Division. He also calls for the Rojiblancos’ pride to keep on cheering on the team in order to make the dream of returning to the top tier of Spanish football ‘because when UD Almeria are united, we have no limits.’ 

‘We’ll all play in the next games. We’re starters and we're going to make it noticeable. We’ll wear the UD Almería red and white colours. I invite you to put our team's flags in the windows, in bars, in shop windows and everywhere to show that we spread hope and inspire our  to the top,’ declares the proclamation. 

In view of the growth and projection of the hospitality sector and with the aim of facilitating the entertainment and meetings of neighbours in the streets on Matchdays, establishments that have the relevant authorisation will be exceptionally allowed to move screens and audiovisual devices to terraces and night tables, without sound amplification, so that, in this way, their customers can watch the live broadcast of the respective matches outdoors. 

‘Let's wear the UD Almeria shirt that makes us dream every week with pride everywhere,’ adds the Mayor of Almeria, ‘and fill the social networks with posts and messages of encouragement to our city team. It’ll be the first step of a victory that will open the doors of a new and exciting time for all of us, because what’s good for the Club is good for Almería.’
