Ramazani rejoins teammates after international duty
The attacker was a standout performer with the Belgium U21. Youngsters Marciano and Rachad are training with the UD Almería first-team
Largie Ramazani has rejoined his teammates after having been on international duty with Belgium U21. The Belgian was a standout performer as he not only produced a well-crafted assist but also scored against Japan in a friendly match. This Tuesday, he trained as per usual along with the rest of the squad.
It was the second session of a week in which competition resumes for UD Almería on Sunday, 2 April (KO 2pm Spanish Time) as they will go on a trip up north to visit Celta de Vigo. UD Almería youngsters Marciano and Rachad, who are taking leading roles with the 'B' team and the Under-19s 'A', respectively, have taken part in the senior team's practice.
In addition, Alejandro Pozo has been doing some exercises with the ball on the sidelines, while striker Luis Suárez left collective training earlier to continue working out in the gym; a decision taken as a precaution.
The squad members have followed Rubi's instructions with a positive attitude and high intensity. The footballers worked on strength circuit workouts, crossing and shooting drills and also played small-sided games.
Injured players Akieme and El Bilal Touré continue on the road to full recovery, while Dyego Sousa keeps on working out in the gym due to some discomfort.
Defensive midfielder Samú Costa, who has joined up with Portugal U21, will be back in Almería this Wednesday, when the players will be upping the intensity ahead of Sunday's encounter.
