Rachad transferred to Real Madrid Castilla
The Spanish-Moroccan striker brings his spell at UD Almería to an end, having left his mark with standout performances in both the youth setup and the first team
UD Almería and Real Madrid CF have reached an agreement for the transfer of Rachad Fettal, meaning the Spanish-Moroccan player leaves the Andalusian Club. The striker, who had a contract until 2028, joins Real Madrid Castilla CF after spending last season in the first team coached by Rubi.
Rachad's mark on Almería's youth system is undeniable. His arrival at the UD Almería youth Academy was the prelude to a player who grew until making the leap to the first team, where on 3 December, 2023, he made his official debut against Real Betis Balompié in the top flight of Spanish football.
Previously, the 22-year-old striker contributed to significant milestones in the youth teams, most notably the Spanish Cup U19 runner-up finish in the 2022/23 season and the subsequent promotion to the fourth-tier Segunda RFEF with UD Almería 'B'.
UD Almería wish him the best of luck and success in this new and ambitious era that begins at Real Madrid Castilla CF.
