Rachad extends UD Almería contract until 2028

The 19-year-old striker is training with the first-team and so far has featured in La Liga Hypermotion games as well as in the Spanish Cup

UD Almería centre-forward Rachad Fettal has extended his contract with Club until June 2028. He joined UD Almería U16s as a teenager and despite being only 19 years old, the Spanish-Moroccan has been training regularly with the first team since the start of the current 2024/25 campaign. In fact, he participated in the pre-season under the guidance of head coach Rubi.
 
In the current season, the Torre Pacheco native has played in 11 LaLiga Hypermotion games, starting against CD Castellón and coming off the bench in the rest of the fixtures. 
 
Furthermore, in the Spanish Cup first-round, he earned a starting spot against UD San Sebastián de los Reyes. Rachad earned promotion to the Segunda RFEF with UD Almería 'B' last season and in the previous one, they were Spanish Cup U19 runner-up with the UD Almería Under-19s 'A' youth team. In addition, Rachad is a Morocco U20 international.
