Top scorer Rachad: 24 league goals, five Spanish Cup U19 goals and two Spain U18 goals

The UD Almería Under-19s 'A' striker, another of the UDA Youth Academy gems, has had a breakout season

UD Almería U19s 'A' striker Rachad Fettal Dhimi has had a breakout season. The youngster became the Group IV top scorer of the División de Honor Juvenil league with 24 goals together with Clavería, from Cádiz CF. In the Spanish Cup U19, the attacker was the leading scorer of the competition with five goals to his name and he managed to net twice in his caps with Spain U18, the first scored in his debut with the youth national team. In all, 31 goals have made him a standout player.

Rachad, who is one of the UDA youth Academy budding players, has clocked up 3,000 minutes this term, 1,000 more than the previous season; in fact, the homegrown player has been a regular in Alberto Lasarte's starting XIs.

The UD Almería Under-19s 'A' head coach described him as a brilliant player: 'Rachad has the best characteristics of the two types of forwards. He's capable of winning aerial duels, he's good at making at run in behind and he's a real threat up front too. His biggest strength is intensity. He never gives up on the ball both defensively and offensively. Rachad has also an eye for goal... a lot of goals. He's a two-footed player with tons of creativity.'
