UD Almería reach an agreement with the 22-year-old footballer and the Castilian-based club so that he can get more game minutes in second-tier LaLiga Hypermotion

UD Almería 'B' midfielder Rubén Quintanilla has extended his contract with the Club until June 2027 and is loaned out to Burgos CF after the agreement reached with the footballer and the Castilian-based team. The move was completed late this Sunday and the player heads to his new destination where he will have former UD Almería head coach Luis Miguel Ramis as his new boss.

Quintanilla was signed last summer to join UD Almería 'B'. He moved from RCD Mallorca 'B'. From Matchday 12 he began to be called up by the first team with whom he has remained to date since Robertone was on the treatment table until a few weeks ago, in addition to Baba and Gui Guedes, all of them midfielders, also being injured.

Now, after the signing of Selvi Clua and the availability of the Argentinean, UD Almería have decided that Quintanilla, 22 years old, should have more game experience in the second tier of Spanish football with his loan to Burgos CF.

The Catalan midfielder has featured in four league fixtures, in one of them as a starter, and in two Spanish Cup ties. Last Saturday, against Real Oviedo, he came on in the final stretch of the match and this Sunday he trained with the first team before his loan  to Burgos CF was closed until the end of the season.
