Quim Junyent becomes UD Almería's 4th summer signing

The highly-rated midfielder joins following the arrivals of Brian Cipenga, Miguel de la Fuente and Jorge Pulido. A product of FC Barcelona's Academy La Masia, the Spain Under-19 captain has signed a long-term deal until 2032

UD Almería have completed the signing of Quim Junyent, who becomes the Club's 4th addition ahead of the 2026/27 season, following the arrivals of winger Brian Cipenga from CD Castellón, centre-back Jorge Pulido from SD Huesca and striker Miguel de la Fuente, who has returned on a permanent transfer after spending last season on loan from CD Leganés.

One of Spanish football's brightest young prospects, Junyent is already making his mark on the international stage. The midfielder is currently enjoying an outstanding UEFA European Under-19 Championship with Spain, where he captains the national team.

A technically gifted central midfielder with excellent game awareness and composure in possession, Junyent has been part of FC Barcelona's renowned Academy La Masia since the age of nine and was a member of the side that won the UEFA Youth League.

The 19-year-old has signed a long-term contract until June 2032, underlining the Club's commitment to one of the country's most exciting young talents.
