Sergio Arribas: 'We want to be an ambitious and winning team'

The UD Almería attacking midfielder brings good vibes this summer, although there is still a long way to go in the pre-season. 'We've moved on and we're all committed to this project. I'm very happy here,' he emphasises

'The head coach wants an ambitious and winning team and all of us, who are part of the squad are in the same boat and we seek the same objectives,' stated UD Almería player Sergio Arribas in an interview with the Club's official media at the training camp, where the Rojiblancos are now facing the last week in Marbella.

In his humble opinion 'we're behaving like a solid team that is bringing good vibes,' although at the same time, he recognised: 'We're in the middle of pre-season and we still have a long way to go.'

'The head coach told us on the first day to forget the past and look to the future. It's what we're doing. We've moved on and we're all committed to this new project. I'm very happy here,' the 22-year-old player said.

He considers that Rubi and his coaching staff are very organised and methodical at work, and they insist a lot when they want to improve concepts. 'It's something that we value a lot, that they're on top of us and give us clear instructions,' he explained.

He also described the pre-season as 'extremely demanding,' but at the same time he stated: 'Perhaps, it was what we lacked last year to finish the games well at the beginning.'

The Madrid native footballer knows that the LaLiga Hypermotion will be 'very complicated, long and hard, but also beautiful because we want to enjoy ourselves and so do the fans. These are new expectations and we're looking forward to having a good season.'
