The young midfielder is a key player for the Rojiblancos and has already made his debut for the Serbia senior national team
Stefan Dzôdić and UD Almería have reached an agreement to extend their partnership, with the Serbian midfielder signing a new 2-year contract that will keep him at the club until June 2032.
The 21-year-old has enjoyed an impressive and upward trajectory since joining the Club in the summer of 2025. He has become a key player for the team and has now also made his debut for the Serbia senior national team.
When he was presented just over a year ago, Dzôdić was asked whether he had joined UD Almería first team or UD Almería 'B'. He was clear about his ambitions and was convinced that he could contribute to the first team...and he has certainly delivered on that belief.
The Serbian gradually established himself as a regular starter last season, and this campaign he had played every game until the international break saw him join up with Serbia. He missed the matches against RCD Mallorca and Burgos CF, but is now available again. He has started 6 of the 8 league matches played so far.
During the 2025/26 season, when he joined from French club HSC Montpellier 'B', he featured in 33 league matches and all 4 of UD Almería’s promotion play-off games.
