Pozo debuts as a new UD Almería player

Babić was named in the squad list, while Carriço and Dyego Sousa were left out. Robertone is back but Iván Martos will miss out

Pozo was the only one of the last four signings made by UD Almería in the recent summer transfer window to make his debut wearing the Rojiblancos’ jersey. The player signed on loan from Sevilla FC entered the field in the 56th minute to replace Ramazani and was actually very active at all times showing quality and speed in his game.

The Serbian central defender Babić from the Belgrade-based club Red Star, was named in squad list. Carriço was not included due to paperwork reasons while Dyego Sousa was out of action as he still needs some time to get in shape.

On the other hand, UD Almería visit SD Ponferradina next Sunday and head coach Rubi will be able to count on Robertone as he has already served a one-game ban. On the contrary, Iván Martos will unavoidably miss out because he was awarded his second yellow and was sent off as soon as the second half started. Portillo will also be available for selection, who returned to play after recovering from his muscle injury.

Juanjo Nieto remains a doubt following muscular discomfort while Juan Villar continues road to recovery.

UD Almería will be performing a training session this Sunday (10 am), and then rest on Monday. On Tuesday (9:45 am), the players will be getting back to work in order to focus on preparations for Sunday's game vs SD Ponferradina.
