Powerful Lokosa to boost Almeria ‘B’ forward line

The Nigerian moves on loan from Egyptian first-tier team Pharco FC with an option to buy. He is a strong player who dominates the offensive and aerial game

The UD Almería ‘B’ team are to strengthen their attack with the signing of Anthony Lokosa, a 24-year-old Nigerian forward, who arrives on loan with an option to buy from Egyptian top-tier team Pharco FC. He is a strong player who dominates the offensive and aerial game. In addition, he can play as a No. ‘9’ as well as a left or right-winger.

Anthony Abidemi Lokosa was born in Lagos (Nigeria) on 5 May, 1997. He took his first steps in the world of football in his home country, having worn the Crown FC and 36 Lion shirts. Next, he left on loan to the Israel-based Betiar TA Rambla, where he captured the attention of Egyptian football moving to Pharco FC in the 2017/18 campaign. Lokosa played in Egypt over the course of the 2019/20 season, but on loan at Harras Hodoud, returning to his home club in the 2020/21 season.

The forward has joined UD Almeria ‘B’ on loan with an option to buy to boost the Academy team forward line. Lokosa is 1.85m and has the ideal features to become a benchmark up front competing in Tercera Division RFEF (Group IX). Nevertheless, his versatility will enable head coach Óscar Fernández to place him as an attacking playmaker or in any of the flanks.
