Petrovic again involved in training following his recent recovery from injury

The Almería squad train this Tuesday in two groups of 14 players after the health authorities give the go-ahead and LaLiga’s approval

Radosav Petrovic, the UD Almería holding midfielder, has finally been given the all-clear from the doctor and has started training with the rest of his team-mates as per usual. All of the UD Almeria footballers are now match fit, ready for action and therefore available. That means José María Gutiérrez will be able to count on all his players. In fact, at the end of last week, the youngster Callejón also joined the first-team after recovering from his knee injury.

The Serbian footballer picked up an injury before the Segunda Division was halted due to the coronavirus pandemic. When he returned to training in May, he was exercising on the sidelines. However, he participated in some phases of training with his small group. He is already fully recovered and getting back into the swing of things.

The Rojiblancos’ week is off to a great start training in three groups of up to 10 players, as it happened the previous one. Nevertheless, as of Tuesday they will be training in two groups of up to 14 footballers after the health authorities gave the go-ahead and LaLiga’s approval.

The team have been getting up early to beat the heat. In this sense, the activity begins at 8 a.m. at the Juegos Mediterraneos Stadium, to continue at 9.30 at the Anexo training ground. Moreover, the players will be training twice on Tuesday.
