Perovic commits future to UD Almería with contract extension until 2029

The Montenegro U19 international impresses with first-team breakthrough and standout pre-season performances

UD Almería have secured the long-term future of promising winger Marko Perovic, who has signed a contract extension that will keep him at the Club until June 2029. The 19-year-old Montenegro U19 international joined the Rojiblancos last season for the 'B' team and quickly earned promotion to Rubi's first-team squad.

After making 14 appearances in the fourth-tier Segunda RFEF and scoring 3 goals, Perovic caught the eye with his attacking flair and versatility. His rise saw him feature in 6 LaLiga Hypermotion fixtures and 2 Copa del Rey ties before being included in the senior squad’s Marbella training camp this summer.

During pre-season, the left-footed Podgorica native has continued to impress, featuring in both friendly matches and showcasing his adaptability by playing as both a winger and a wing-back.

He capped off his progress with a match-winning goal against Al Jazira Club last Sunday, further underlining his growing importance to Rubi's squad.
