Pepe Mel's first meeting as UD Almería head coach

The newly appointed head coach takes over the reins with coach assistant Nacho Pérez and conditioning coach Álvaro Montiel. His coaching team will be joined by in-house backroom team members Víctor Fortes and Ricardo Molina

UD Almería brand-new head coach Pepe Mel has met the first-team players as soon as he signed his contract with the Club. He chatted with them and they went out onto the Power Horse Stadium pitch to have a light training session. Pepe Mel will begin to work on the match plan this Thursday ahead of the next away match at the Gran Canaria Stadium against one of his former clubs, UD Las Palmas, where he has spent the longest time as a head coach. In addition to this Wednesday's session, there will also be one conducted on Friday and another on Saturday. 

Pepe Mel takes the reins of UD Almería with two of his coaching team members: coach assistant Nacho Pérez and conditioning coach Álvaro Montiel. Along with them, two in-house backroom team assistants will join in, conditioning coach Víctor Fortes and also Ricardo Molina, who will be the goalkeeper coach and analyst.
