Lopy sidelined for several weeks with quadriceps injury

The Senegalese UD Almería midfielder set to miss upcoming fixtures after sustaining muscle problem in training

UD Almería have confirmed that Dion Lopy will be unavailable for the next few matchweeks after suffering a muscle injury to his right quadriceps. The Senegalese midfielder picked up the issue during the final training session ahead of Matchday 20 in LaLiga Hypermotion, ruling him out of last week’s derby clash against Granada CF.

Following medical examinations carried out by the Club’s medical team, the extent of the injury has now been determined. Lopy will begin his recovery process immediately, with his return to action dependent on how his rehabilitation progresses.

As a result, Lopy is expected to miss UD Almería’s forthcoming fixtures.
