On the road to Girona in a matter of five days

This is the second time since the SmartBank league resumed that Almería have ‘so much’ time to knuckle down in a preparation towards a fixture

Almería have been playing competitive matches every 72 hours since the SmartBank League resumed and will now have five days to face the next championship match, which will face Girona on Thursday, 9th July at Montilivi. It is the second time that the Rojiblancos have ‘so much’ time to prepare for a game.

Previously, it happened between matches against Real Zaragoza, at La Romareda, and versus Alcorcón, at the Mediterraneo. These meetings were then played on 20th and 25th June, respectively. In general, Almería are playing every three days.

In any case, it will be a much-needed break because there will also be four days between this appointment in Girona and the next one at Mediterraneo, since the side from Almería host Rayo Vallecano on Monday, 13th June.
