New testing trip to San Fernando for UD Almería 'B'
The match will be played at 5pm at the Estadio Iberoamericano Bahía Sur. The team from Cádiz CF have recorded 8 consecutive games without losing
UD Almería 'B' have a new testing trip in the on Matchday 26 and if last week they visited Xerez CD, this time they return to Cádiz to play against San Fernando at the Iberoamericano Bahía Sur Stadium.
The match will be played this Sunday at 5pm. The young Rojiblancos, who sit 4th with 41 points, can achieve their main objective of the season, which is to practically ensure their league survival in their debut in the tier, since the head coach, Alberto Lasarte, has always talked about reaching 44 points. But aside from that, the 'B' team are in a VIP position and have almost everything in their favour to be able to play the promotion play-offs, although there are still 9 matches ahead that will be very tough.
A clear example is this Sunday's game against San Fernando that, despite fighting to avoid falling into the relegation zone, has already accumulated 8 consecutive matches without losing in which they have achieved a couple of victories and 6 draws, 5 in the most recent matches in which they have also kept a clean sheet in the last three. Therefore, it will be a very demanding match for the UD Almería Academy prospects.
