Mohamed Al Khereiji, president of UD Almería, held a board meeting in Almería, taking the opportunity to address various Club matters and attend the match against Andorra FC. The agenda for the Rojiblancos’ top executive was full and intensive. The President travelled from Saudi Arabia with several members of the new board of directors, while those unable to join in person participated via teleconference.
Economic Situation and Stadium Renovation
The meeting covered a wide range of topics, including an analysis of the Club’s economic situation, which confirmed the viability of ongoing and upcoming projects. A key point discussed was the second phase of the stadium renovation, set to begin at the end of the current season. Discussions focused on the scope of the works, timelines, and the total cost of the operation.
Sports Complex Development
Infrastructure matters also included the Club’s Sports Complex project, which is currently pending administrative approvals from the Junta de Andalucía Government and the Almería City Council. UD Almería Managing Director Mohamed El Assy updated the directors on the current status of these proceedings.
Sponsorship, Marketing and Social Initiatives
