Mendes: 'I'll give everything for UD Almería whether I play 90 minutes or 10'
The French right-back speaks of 'great opportunity for young players' in this project set up by UD Almería
Houboulang Mendes has appeared for the first time in the press room before the media and has acknowledged that he is in the right place to become the best version of himself: 'UD Almería is a Club that has a great project for young players; I hope to do great things here and be here for a long time.'
In relation to his first months in the LaLiga Santander, he commented: 'I had a warm welcome and I'm happy to be here. Obviously, I knew that I was going to need a period of adaptation to the country and the new language. At this moment, I'll continue training and working to become a starter.'
The right-back wants to give it his all and contribute at the service of the team: 'I'm going to give everything for UD Almería whatever the minutes I may get. I'm determined to put in my best performance whether I play 90 minutes or even if the head coach gives me 10. I'll do my very best.'
In addition, the French footballer with Guinean nationality has expressed his feelings after the defeat in Mallorca: 'We're disappointed with the defeats but the next game comes very quickly. We have to bounce back as soon as possible to go into the next game against Athletic Club de Bilbao well.'
