Melero, Babić and Marciano start collective training after shaking off injuries

Fernando Martínez, Arnau Puigmal and Léo Baptistão are now doing individual ball work on the pitch

UD Almería are back at it after two days off following the end of their training camp in Benahavís. The medical room has not been busy as it has been in recent days given the fact that some Rojiblancos have just started collective training: Gonzalo Melero, who during the summer holidays had undergone knee arthroscopy for a meniscus injury; Babić, who in the pre-season friendly against Málaga CF sprained his ankle; and Marciano, who sprained his ankle in another friendly against UD Las Palmas.

In addition, Léo Baptistão, operated on in the final stretch of last season, as well as Fernando Martínez and Arnau Puigmal, with muscle injuries sustained in the training camp, have done individual ball work on the pitch on the sidelines.

The only player who is still in the medical room is Šviderský

This Friday, UD Almería will be training flat out behind closed doors and on Saturday, they will put an end their pre-season campaign with the last practice home turf friendly against Granada CF at 8pm (Spanish Time).
