Arnau: 'It was good for me to be loaned. I come with burning enthusiasm'
The UD Almería player stated on the Club's official radio: 'We know we're a very good squad,' but he clarifies: 'In Segunda, you think you have everything done and in the end, you miss the goal. We must be prepared.'
'It was very good for me to be loaned to Elche CF last season. I come back with another attitude and burning enthusiasm,' stated UD Almería player Arnau Puigmal in an interview on the Club's official radio station, UDA Radio. He also stressed: 'I've changed physically, now I'm stronger than in my first year here, and we're also doing a good job in the pre-season. At a football level, I guess I've also improved. I've got great vibes in all aspects.'
The UD Almería footballer is putting in excellent performance in friendly matches and is establishing himself as a full-back: 'I had previously played in this position, and although I'm not a pure full-back I can contribute different things. I've played in different areas, more inside, but I'm good in this position.'
'I know that we're a very good squad and that we're going to fight for promotion,' although he clarified: 'Segunda is very complicated, it may seem that you've already done everything and in the end, you miss the objective. We must be prepared and I guess we're on the right track,' the 23-year-old acknowledges.
The former Spain U19 international considers it key to turn the Power Horse Stadium into a fortress: 'The promotion season was fundamental for our performance at home, and we must play as well as back then, without forgetting that we must try to collect points in all stadiums.'
